What is Life?

If the antidote for Love is Hate

And that for Hate is Love, What is it that keeps Hell down below

And Heaven up above?

Earth in the middle and Us

As either’s Slaves?

Both paths, though different,

Lead Us to the same Graves?

Why is it that Hate knows no Love,

And Love knows not Hate?

What is the purpose of Life?

And is there a Pearly Gate?

What is Our meaning;

For what are We to wait?

Heaven may be real,

But could it be that We’re too late?

“What is Our future?

What is Our fate?”

As once said a Man to his Wife

“What is Our Purpose? To sit

And tell a joke? Maybe have a beer?

What is the real reason We are here?

My dear Wife,

Intro to My Blog

Hello, my name is Ariel, and I am an aspiring author. This blog is where I will be placing excerpts & snippets of my upcoming stories, poems, skits, and more. 

I'm mostly into the genre of fantasy, but I do sometimes dabble in such things as Sci-Fi and horror. I might take suggestions, depending upon their content. Otherwise, you will just have to wait and see what I'll do next.
